Not Your Average Clothing Program

Heart-Shaped Collage of volunteers

Uncommon Threads empowers low-income women to live their best lives by utilizing personal development coaching and individualized wardrobe styling to build self-esteem and self-worth.

We offer a variety of services and programs to help women look and feel their best. By combining clothing and styling services with positive empowerment skill-building, we help women improve their outer appearance and shift inner self-talk. Because when a woman views herself as strong and capable, she can move  forward and make positive life changes for herself and those around her.

Here at Uncommon Threads, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2016, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success by the number of women whose lives we've had the opportunity to impact in a meaningful way. Clients are referred into Uncommon Threads through local social services agencies and do not have to be working to access services. Many of our clients are domestic violence survivors, cancer patients, disabled and female veterans.
